Kendi´s Story
Finally at the 13th of July, 2001,
United
Airlines took me to San Francisco, where I was cheerfully expected by our
friends Diane and Ken as well as by Linda. After about 45 minutes we were in
California, Los Gatos, Santa Cruz Hwy, the original home of Kendi. There I was
cheerfully welcomed again by all the wonderful Newfoundlands of Kendian`s:
The
“old” K.C. London (father of Kendi), Andrew (grandfather of Kendi), Lexus (mother
of Kendi) and, of course, all the puppies. Finally I saw all the
“girls” and simply all of them were absolutely beautiful and so sweet.
But my heart belonged to Kendi at once which was originally called “Londonette”.
However, she got the name “Kendi” which is put together out of Kendall and
Diane, consequently she reminds us of two so wonderful people and friends every
day.
Yes
and then I spent one week with Diane and Ken as well as with Linda Codgia, the
breeder of Kendi´s mother Lexus. Thank you Linda for always believing in these
wonderful dogs and that you breed the so beautiful, typfull Lexus by coupling
your female dog “Ch. Pouch Cove´s Philosophie” with “Ch. Pouch Cove´s
Goodfellow” (Andrew).
I was included into the family from the first minute, just as if I belonged to them since always. Yes and then they showed me some of the beautiful sights of California.

And
we have spent many hours with a little bit of champagne and cosy chatting or
simply with playing with the boys and girls. Yes, we had a lot of fun.
he made us love with his language knowledge and he is a member or that
"Team" and is really often with on tour to the different shows. Every
time when they travell with their "Motorhome" he is the
"Star" and is always the Entertainer for Fun and Action!
The
days passed by far too fast and then the not so nice moment came and we had to
say good-bye. “Good-bye” is not right but saying “See you
again” is, since we are sure that we are going to see us again, no matter if
it is in the USA or in Europe. Diane and Linda took me to the airport to
San Francisco, this time with Kendi, and a short time later the Boeing 747 by
the Lufthansa took us to Europe were Kendi and I were cheerfully expected by my
family. 
Yes
and regarding to Kendi there is nothing more to say than that it was love at
first sight with everybody.
Kendi
lives with us in Austria since July 19th 2001 and settled in very nicely. Our
boys accepted Kendi at once and they are already a great team.
But
we know that she is very much missed by Diane and Ken in California, yet they
have entrusted her to us.
We
can only thank Diane and Ken by giving Kendi a good home and she is going to
get all our love.
At
the end we would like to especially thank Diane again for everything she did for
the puppies. We can see at Kendi how much she is related to humans, how much
love she got and how great she was socialised. She has such a great personality
and is not afraid of anything.

that I had the opportunity to see all the wonderful dogs, which mean so much to
me, and that we now got the female dog out of our dream line.
For
me it remains an unforgettable trip.
